We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Research Intern to support our legal team. The intern will assist in conducting legal research focused on daily judgments from Bombay High Court - Mumbai, Gujarat High Court - Ahmedabad, Rajasthan High Court - Jaipur, & Chhattisgarh High Court - Bilaspur.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Dedicate approximately 4 hours daily to conduct legal research on judgments pronounced by the Bombay High Court (Mumbai), Gujarat High Court (Ahmedabad), Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur), and Chhattisgarh High Court (Bilaspur).
* Analyze judgments to identify key questions of law and assess their relevance to current legal developments.
* Prepare concise briefs summarizing the judgments and their implications.
* Maintain well-organized records of research and findings.
* Support attorneys in case preparation by gathering relevant information and documentation.
* Attend meetings and hearings as required, and take detailed notes.
* Collaborate with other interns and legal staff on assigned projects.
* Stay updated on recent legal developments, judicial trends, and emerging issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Law (preferably in the final year of LL.B. or any year of LL.M).
* Strong analytical and legal research skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in navigating High Court official websites and using Microsoft Office Suite to summarize the judgment.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and contributing to the legal team.
