Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Research Intern to support our legal team. The intern will assist in conducting legal research focused on daily judgments from Bombay High Court - Mumbai, Gujarat High Court - Ahmedabad, Rajasthan High Court - Jaipur, & Chhattisgarh High Court - Bilaspur.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced legal environment and develop a deeper understanding of legal principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dedicate about about 4 hours and Conduct thorough legal research on daily judgments from
Bombay High Court - Mumbai, Gujarat High Court - Ahmedabad, Rajasthan High Court - Jaipur, &
Chhattisgarh High Court - Bilaspur .
- Identify potential questions of law and assess their importance and relevance to current legal dynamics.
- Write briefs summarizing the respective judgments and their implications.
- Maintain organized records of research and findings.
- Support attorneys in case preparation by gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Attend and take notes during meetings and hearings as needed.
- Collaborate with other interns and legal staff to complete assigned projects.
- Stay updated on current legal developments and trends.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Law ( Preferably in final year of LLB or any year of LL.M).
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in accessing and navigating databases of all the High Court Official Website and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude toward learning and contributing to the legal team.
